(3 cr.) Designed for the non-auditor, this course clearly explains the auditing function in banks. Discusses the role, duties, and responsibilites of the auditor. Develops understanding of why bank controls are needed and how to evaluate those controls within a bank. Highlighted are audit organization, risk exposure, and auditing in the security, compliance, and training areas. Lecture 3 hours per week.
