Prerequisite: Minimum grade of "C" in MUS 1221. Laboratory activities will center ondeveloping listening, playing singing and composing skills utilizing major, minor, chromatic pentatonic and whole-tone scales as well as all modes. Also included will be practice with harmonic intervals and seventh chord. Sight-singing will emphasized, as will harmonic dictation using all chord positions. Credit, one semester hour
