Co-requisite: BIO 2413. This course is designed to teach basic biology laboratory skills to the life science major. Emphasis is placed on marine, freshwater, and terrestrial invertebrates. After successful completion of this course, the students will have an understanding of the classification, morphology, physiology, genetics, and ecology of the major invertebrate taxa. Students are evaluated by unit lab exams, individual lab work, and a comprehensive final exam. Two hours of lab per week. Credit, one semester hour
