Co-requisite: CHE 1223. The student will test the concepts stressed in General Chemistry II lecture through investigation and experimentation. Experiments include solution properties, acid-base chemistry, chemical kinetics, electrochemistry, and the qualitative analysis of Groups I and II cations. Evaluation will include pre-lab quizzes, lab reports, and two examinations. One three-hour laboratory per week. Credit, three semester hours
