Prerequisite: MAT 1313 or higher. This course is designed primarily for mathematics, engineering, and science majors. The student will write scientifically-oriented programs in the Fortran language. These programs will require the use of complex algebraic manipulations, looping and conditional structures, formatted output, arrays, functions, and subroutines. The grade assigned will be based on the results of tests, outside-of-class programming assignments, homework and classwork assignments, and a comprehensive examination. Credit, three semester hours
