Co-requisite: CHE 2423. The students will learn to perform melting points, refluxes, simple and fractional distillations, vacuum filtrations, I.R. spectroscopy, and other techniques in order to conduct experiments and syntheses involving procedures and reactions studied in CHE 2423 lecture. Students will be evaluated on laboratory techniques and formal laboratory reports. Labs meet two and one-half hours twice per week. Credit, two semester hours
