Prerequisite: A grade of C or better in high school Algebra II and an ACT math score of at least 18 or a grade of C or better in MAT 1233 (Intermediate Algebra). The student will learn to write well-designed programs using the C++ programming language. Topics will include basic input/output; arithmetic, relational, and logical operators; looping; and functions. Grades will be assigned based on results of tests, programming assignments, homework and classwork assignments, laboratory work, and a comprehensive examination. Three hours of lecture and two hours of lab per week. Credit, four semester hours
