Co-Requisite: BIO 2411. This is an introductory course designed for students planning on majoring in a biological field. After completion of this course, the student will be able to analyze basic facts and principles involved in the scientific study of invertebrate animals, cellular processes, metabolism, nutrition, ecology, and systematics. Student evaluations are based on unit exams, outside assignments, and a comprehensive final exam. Three hours of lecture per week. Credit, three semester hours
