Hours: 5 Course ID: 005433 Expands knowledge in care of clients across the lifespan with alterations in cardiovascular, respiratory endocrine and hematological systems, as well as clients with fluid/electrolyte and acid-base imbalance. Integrates concepts of health promotion, disease prevention, pharmacological and therapeutic interventions. Includes advanced clinical skills. Prerequisite: Completion, with a grade of C or better, of NIP 110, NIP 115. Students must have Basic Life Support certification, current liability insurance coverage and current immunizations for the duration of the course. Corequisite: NIP 120, NIP 130.
