Hours: 3 Course ID: 003815 This first level programming language course covers SQL, a standard relational query and definition language. The syntax for table creation, modification, and access will be presented, including queries based on relational algebra (projection, selection, join, etc.). A host language interface will be used to design interactive screens, format reports, and embed SQL statements. Lecture: 3 hrs. Prerequisite: CIS 120 and CIS 170 or Consent of Instructor.
