Hours: 2 Course ID: 003960 Provides an introduction to the theory of robots including terminology, components, and basic programming. This course will probide theory and applications of servo and non-servo robots. Topics covered will include robot types, controllers, manipulators, and basic robotics programming and fluid power systems. This course will provide the basic theory of flexible manufacturing and AC and DC control systems. The student will learn how to develop and set up workcells. Prerequisite: MST 232 Component: Laboratory
