Hours: 3 Course ID: 000202 Philosophies, theories for intervention, and the problem-solving process will be introduced. Emphasis will be placed on the development of a skill base used in counseling techniques and client intervention. Interpersonal relationship skills will be enhanced through knowledge of communication techniques. Activities will be provided in which the student will apply this knowledge and these skills.
