Critical examination of individual and group activities currently offered in the elementary school art program. Lectures, curriculum design, evaluation of process and technique. Introduction to the visual arts through studio experiences. Lecture: 1 hour; Laboratory: 2 hours. AE 270 and AE 272 together satisfy the state art requirement for general elementary teacher certification. Prerequisite: EDP 202. (Same as EDC 270.) Component: Laboratory, Lecture
