Hours: 4 Course ID: 004343 An introduction to patient care skills and ethics used in the practice of sonography is included. Students will demonstrate skills in evaluating, protecting and providing physical care of the patient while in the Sonography Department. Completion of a unit in venipuncture and pharmacology is included. Due to specific program needs, this course may be required as a prerequisite to the Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
