Hours: 12 Course ID: 001087 The study of chemistry relative to the barbering industry with emphasis on the pharmacological compounds contained in shampoo, permanent waving solutions, hair color and relaxing chemicals. Anatomy and physiology of the human body and its functions. The basic principles of bacteriology. Intermediate level barbering skills will be introduced and practiced in the barbering lab.
