Hours: 3 Course ID: 004248 Introduces the student to the theory involved in surgical assisting; Incorporates anatomy, surgical techniques, aseptic techniques, draping, positioning, suturing, safety, and duties of the surgical team. Prerequisite: Program admission and student must be a certified Surgical Technologist or an RN with operating room experience. Student must provide current documentation of certification/licensure.
