Hours: 1 Course ID: 005280 Provides laboratory training in advanced aspects of polysomnographic technology. Students will become familiar with the skills and apply the knowledge needed to evaluate sleep recordings. It covers sleep stage scoring, event recognition, report generation, and higher level therapeutic interventions. Includes procedure and scoring for specialized testing such as the multiple sleep latency test (MSLT) and maintenance of wakefulness test (MWT). Laboratory: 1 credit (60 contact hours). Prerequisite: PSG 111 with a grade of C or better, or consent of the instructor. Component: Laboratory
