Hours: 1 Course ID: 004175 This course introduces the student to clinical practice in the phlebotomy department of the laboratory. The student will begin to develop performance skills in routine venipuncture and capillary collection procedures. This course utilized and depends upon external institutions to insure adequate clinical education and training. A prescribed schedule of clinical rotations in the phlebotomy area will be provided for the student by the instructor. Prerequisite: PHB 151 or consent of instructor.
