Hours: 6 Course ID: 003809 Fundamental techniques of areas of the clinical laboratory appropriate to the phlebotomist are introduced. Included is a study of medical ethics, medical terminology, anatomy and physiology of the circulatory system professional organizations, communication, record keeping, specimen collection, chain of custody, laboratory safety, and quality control.
