3 class hours This course begins with a review of the real numbers, and then moves into linear equations and inequalities, linear functions and inequalities in two variables, systems of linear equations and inequalities, exponents and polynomials, and factoring. Prerequisite: MAT 095 or MAT 106 or equivalent passed with a C- or better or by satisfactory scores on the skills assessment examination.
