3 class hours This course is a study of Java programming: basic concepts of object oriented programming, fundamentals of the language and syntax, algorithmic thinking, problem solving, control structures, data types, operators and class libraries. This is an extensive hands-on program development creating stand-alone applications and Java applets. Prerequisite: CTT130 passed with a C or better.
