RADT 102 - Clinical Radiography I

This course will provide the student with a six-week orientation in program policy and procedures, professional ethics, body mechanics, venipuncture and patient care. Special instruction is given in basic radiation protection and radiographic exposure procedures prior to entering clinical. This course will allow the integration of the clinical experience with didactic and psychomotor skills taught in RADT 101 and 105. Clinical competencies are to be successfully completed on the chest and extremities. Prerequisite: BIOL 220, BIOL 222, RADT 101, and clinical acceptance.
