Hours: 3 Course ID: 004705 The course will cover building structure for civil engineering technology students, including different types of building loads and their effect upon the various materials used by architects, engineers and technologists. The students will be introduced to quality construction techniques utilizing steel, concrete and reinforced concrete. Industry manuals, specifications and computer programs will be utilized to familiarize the student with current technology. Prerequisite: ACH 225. Lecture: 3 credits (45 contact hours).
