Hours: 4 Course ID: 001036 Prepares the student to demonstrate a working knowledge of the application of the various components involved in process operations. The last topic, program review and evaluation, consists of a Board of Review which is an oral examination to assist the student in determining the areas that need to be reviewed and also to show any areas of deficiency in the program of study. The Board of Review consists of one instructor and two industrial representatives in operations. The board will ask the student questions an entry-level operator should be able to answer. Topics included in this course are system qualification along with board and graduation preparatory. (This course will be presented in a semester format.) Prerequisite: APT 148 with a grade of C or greater. Lecture: 2 credits (30 contact hours); Laboratory: 2 credits (120 contact hours/60:1 ratio). Component: Laboratory, Lecture
