(Variable; Yearly; 3.00 Credits; F) Introductory course which exposes the student to recognize and manipulate fundamental elements of line, tone, texture, volume and plane in a variety of media and techniques with relation to representational drawing. Demonstrations, readings and illustrated lectures supplement studio sessions and outside projects. Students work with graphite and charcoal pencil and powders, ink and other media. Required Text. There is a special lab fee.
