3 Credits This course introduces students to the fundamental concepts of organizational behavior with an emphasis on research, theory, and practice. The student is presented with (1) basic concepts shaping individual behavior such as values, personality, perception, learning, and motivation; (2) basic concepts shaping group/team behavior such as leadership, communication, power, politics, conflict and negotiation; (3) basic concepts shaping organizational structure such as work design, HR policies, culture as well as issues related to organizational change, stress, ethics, and diversity. Prerequisite: BA 201.
