Instruction, literary review, group discussion, and case study on topics pertinent to the emergency medical service (EMS) field supervisor or manager. The student will identify and interpret laws and regulations affecting EMS operations; implement principles of leadership and supervision; discuss and apply strategies used in financial management; explain and exhibit principles of personnel management; and develop strategies for evaluating and improving EMS operations.
