Prerequisite: SPAN 1412 or equivalent. This course emphasizes conversation, vocabulary acquisition, reading composition and culture through review and application of skills in listening comprehension, speaking, reading, and writing. This course provides a study of structural patterns in the Spanish language with emphasis on the contrastive patterns between English and Spanish. The cultural units, reading and listening materials will vary each semester.
