Prerequisite KINE 2356 Care & Prevention of Athletic Injuries. This course will provide in-depth instruction related to evaluation, treatment and rehabilitation of common athletic injuries. This course will also introduce the use and application of therapeutic modalities in the treatment of athletic injuries. In addition the student will develop skills in athletic injury documentation as well as communication with medical professionals. Participation and observation in a directly supervised clinical experience on and/or off campus is a requirement for this course.
