Health-related work-based learning experiences that enable the learner to apply specialized occupational theories, skills, and concepts. This instruction provides detailed education, training andwork-based experience and direct patient/client care. Specific detailed learning objectives are developed for each course by the faculty. On-site clinical instruction, supervision, and evaluation are the responsibility of the College faculty. Clinical experiences are unpaid external learning experiences.. Course may be repeated if topics and learning outcomes vary. Prerequisites: DHYG 2231, DHYG 2361, DHYG 1315, SOCI 1301, ENGL 2311. Corequisites: DHYG 1123, DHYG 1291, and a Fine Arts/Humanities Elective. A grade of "C" or higher is requiredin all prerequisite and corequisite courses. $30 clinical fee, $20 liability insurance fee. R, W, M.
