Study of normal and diseased periodontium to include the structural, functional, and environmental factors. Emphasis on etiology, pathology, treatment modalities, and therapeutic and preventive periodontics in a contemporary private practice setting. Prerequisites: DHYG 1301, DHYG 1431, DHYG 1304, ENGL 1301. Corequisites: DHYG 2201, DHYG 1211, DHYG 1260, DHYG 1207, DHYG 1239, PSYC 2301.
