A reading, writing, and study skills course emphasizing strategies for successful control of grammar application, paragraph and essay writing, as well as improvement of reading skills through development of comprehension, learning strategies, and critical reasoning. Active application of vocabulary acquired in this course will be stressed in writing activities. Special attention will be given to college-level readiness and TOEFL. Designed for speakers of other languages.
