Prerequisite: ARTS 1311 and ARTS 1316 or permission of instructor. An introduction to the basic principles of mixing and application of opaque painting media on various painted surfaces. Included are the studies of properties of the medium with various subject matters and various styles of painting. Six hours of studio work and three hours of assigned independent study per week.
