Credits: 6 Wkly hrs: 2 hours Lecture, 8 hours Lab Basic skills and welding are integrated in learning oxyacetylene welding and brazing in the flat, horizontal and vertical positions on mild steel plate. Instruction in thermal cutting processes are included: oxyfuel cutting (OFC) and plasma arc cutting (PAC). Prerequisite: Completion of or concurrent enrollment in WELD 106 or permission of instructor. Orientation/qualifying score on state standardized assessment.
