Credits: 4 Wkly hrs: 2 hours Lecture, 4 hours Lab A beginning drawing course teaching both introductory hand drawing and computer drawing skills. Concepts taught include: care and use of instruments, linetypes, sketching, numbering of planes, lettering and linework, orthographic projection, primary and secondary auxiliary projections, introduction to descriptive geometry, isometric drawing and isometric sections, orthographic sections, and an introduction to the theory of dimensioning. Prerequisite: Students must have appropriate manual drafting tools and access to an Olympic College computer using AutoCAD software.
