Credits: 1 Wkly hrs: 1 hour Lecture The course is designed to introduce the student to the professional concepts of nursing including the history of nursing, role of the student nurse, legal issues, critical thinking and learning styles. Prerequisite: Admission to the Nursing Program; successful completion of or concurrent enrollment in NURSE 114, 140, 144, 146, 151, 152, 154, and 156. A grade of 2.7 or higher is required for continuation in the Nursing Program.
