An introduction to the role that the personal trainer serves among the fitness industry will be explored. Basic principals of anatomy, physiology, therapeutic exercise, business, and program development will be discussed. The course may be used for cognitive development in preparation for individuals seeking certification within the personal training industry. The course does not include certification.
