Fundamental principles of living organisms including physical and chemical properties of life, organization, function, evolutionary adaptation, and classification. Concepts of reproduction, genetics, ecology, and the scientific method are included. 26.0101.51.03 This course has no laboratory portion associated with it. This course is designed for students who do not intend to major in science or education. The material covered will be at a more basic level than is usually covered in BIOL 1406.
