Topics address recently identified current events, skills, knowledges, and/or attitudes and behaviors pertinent to the technology or occupation and relevant to the professional development of the student. Learning Outcomes: This course is designed to provide the student therapist assistant with the basic concepts of orthopedics relating to the musculoskeletal system and arrangement of various conditions and injuries of the joints and regions of the body. This course builds upon the principles of therapeutic exercise acquired in PTHA 2509, and broadens the knowledge base of the student prior to the student's final clinical experience. Prerequisite: PTHA 2509; Co-requisite: PTHA 2535 and PTHA 2431
