Pathology and general health management of diseases and injuries across the lifespan encountered in occupational therapy treatment settings. Includes etiology, symptoms, and the client's physical and psychological reactions to disease and injury. Learning Outcomes: The student will identify the fundamental characteristics of common diseases and conditions; identify the effects of various diseases and conditions on occupational performance; discuss the contextual factors of common diseases and conditions; identify appropriate occupation-based interventions. Prerequisites: OTHA 1305, OTHA 1315, OTHA 1309 and OTHA 2311. Co-requisite: OTHA 1419 and OTHA 2309.
