Study of neuroanatomy and neurophysiology as it relates to neurological conditions commonly treated in occupation therapy. Emphasis on neuro-based occupational therapy intervention techniques. Learning Outcome: The student will identify and examine the components of neuroanatomy and neurophysiology as they relate to occupational therapy treatment; describe the pathogenesis, prognoses and management of neurological disorders commonly treated in occupational therapy and identify and generalize specific neurological principles utilized in special techniques seen in occupational therapy treatment. Prerequisites: OTHA 1305, OTHA 1315, OTHA 2311, OTHA 1309, OTHA 2301, OTHA 1419, OTHA 2309, and OTHA 1562. Co-requisites: OTHA 2335 and OTHA 2405.
