Continuation of Nursing in Health and Illness II. Further study of common medicalsurgical health problems of the client including concepts of mental illness. Incorporates knowledge necessary to make the transition from student to graduate Vocational Nurse. The student will be required to complete a comprehensive examination with a satisfactory score prior to completion of this class (refer to Student Handbook/Syllabus). Prerequisites: Successful completion of Semester II courses with a grade of 75% (C) or better. Sixty-four lecture hours and sixteen laboratory hours per semester.
