CB 0301035301 This course covers the use of geologic information and risk analysis in evaluating major decisions that will have environmental effects. Examination of geologic factors important to city and regional planning, land capability studies, and assessment of geologic hazards including earthquakes, volcanoes, soil erosion and sediment pollution, floods, groundwater depletion and pollution, landslides, waste disposal, and coastal problems will be stressed.
