CB 2305015112 Course content varies by semester. May focus on fiction, poetry, script and screen writing, creative nonfiction, etc. Focus is on reading published work, learning to recognize and use different elements of the genre being studied, and writing and revising original works. Workshops, group discussions, exercises intended to focus on individual elements of the genre, conferences, and intensive writing and revising are typical components of the course, regardless of genre on which the course focuses. Prerequisite: ENGL 1301 or the approval of the instructor.
