An exploration of guidance strategies for promoting prosocial behaviors with individual and groups of children. Emphasis on positive guidance principles and techniques, family involvement and cultural influences. Practical application through direct participation with children. Prerequisites: Capstone course to be taken during freshman year second semester and CDEC 1454/TECA 1354. Spring only. Co-requisite: Course must be taken concurrently with CDEC 2187.
