CB 2605035103 This course is a survey of the biology of microorganisms including protozoa, algae, fungi, bacteria, and viruses. Topics included are structure and function of microorganisms, their life histories, their roles in the environment, and their human applications (medical, food, and industrial). Fall and Spring. Prerequisite: One of the following conditions must be met for entrance into this course: 1. One year of college biology and credit for or concurrent enrollment in CHEM 2423. 2. Credit in BIOL 2401 and BIOL 2402.
