This course is designed for liberal arts students and those in premedical, predental, prepharmacy, and other programs that do not require calculusbased physics. Topics include mechanics, motion, heat, vectors, forces, velocity, acceleration, momentum, work, changes of state, and calorimetry. Prerequisites: MATH 1314 and 1316 are strongly recommended. Concurrent enrollment in PHYS 1101 is mandatory. (RM)
