Application of client assessment skills, critical thinking, and independent nursing interventions to care for diverse client's families throughout the life span whose health care needs may be difficult to predict. Emphasis on collaborative clinical decision-making, nursing leadership skills, and client management. Topics include the significance of professional development, trends in nursing hand health care, and applicable knowledge, judgment, skills and professional values within a legal/ethical framework. This course must be taken concurrently with RNSG 2562. A grade of "C" or better is required. Prerequisites: BIOL 2101, 2301, 2102, 2302, BIOL 2321,BIOL 2121, PSYC 2301, ENGL 1301, PSYC 2314, ENGL 1302.
