An exit-level developmental course designed for students who have satisfactorily completed READ 0310 but have not yet met college readiness standards on a state approved reading assessment, as well as for students who elect to take a reading course for the development of college-level reading and reasoning skills. Emphasizes logical reasoning skills, figurative language, fallacies, and vocabulary development. Uses class-led discussion to interpret college-level readings. Prerequisite: Successful completion of READ 0310.
