This course is designed to teach communication skills in speaking and understanding spoken Spanish. Idiomatic expressions, conversation, common usage, and drill in pronunciation will be emphasized. This is designed primarily for business and professional people and others who deal with Spanish-speaking citizens of the community. This course is not recommended for students who expect to fulfill university foreign language requirement, or for students who speak Spanish as a vernacular.
